1.STAMPING BATIK


The printing process begins by “stamping” the desired motif repetitively on the material with molten wax by means of a metal block. The wax “block out” the areas of the fabric to be retained white or for the consequtive  prints while the exposed areas will be dyed with first colour applied. The process is repeated with the second colour and continues to a maximum of four colours. On each occasion, molten wax is used on “black out” the areas on which the dyed colour is to be retained. Cracks are made in the waxed material to create the unique batik textures found on genuine handmade batik

2.HANDRAWN BATIK


First step is they soaked fabric with sodium silicate for 4 to 5 hours to make colour fastness on the fabric
In the handdrawn batik process, motten wax is applies onto the fabric using "JHUNTING" 
Design normally sketch with pencil and then applied wax using JHUNTING
After finish applied wax , they will start put color on the fabric using brush
Final process is boling of the fabric to remove the molten wax
